What are the responsibilities and job description for the Packaging Tech position at Alphia?

Essential Job Duties:

  • Operate packaging equipment to specifications
  • Inspecting packaging for defects and make sure seals and dates codes are to exact specification
  • Hand stack product onto pallets when necessary
  • May drive forklift or use pallet jack as required
  • Basic operational maintenance on equipment
  • Follow work instructions and SOP’s

Requirements:

  • A high school diploma or GED is required
  • 1 year of packaging experience required
  • Experience in pet food manufacturing or food manufacturing is strongly preferred.
  • Ability to mult-task in a fast paced environment
