What are the responsibilities and job description for the Finance Manager position at Alpin Haus?
We are currently located in Port Jervis, NY but will be relocating to Middletown area.

The Business Manager handles financing, the offering of optional insurance programs, and the selling of aftermarket items to customers, and works with financial lenders to provide approvals to buyers.
Job Duties:
- Offer unit financing and insurance to customers and provide them with a thorough explanation of aftermarket products, extended service agreements, and manufacturer and service procedures and policies
- Maintain good working relationships with financial institutions and their marketing representatives
- Process and secure financing deals by timely and accurate completion of credit applications, legal disclosures, and all related and required forms and paperwork
- Understand and comply with federal, state and local regulations that affect the finance department, and ensure ethical standards are maintained
- Create and maintain a program with the sales department that will ensure all new sales are referred to the F&I department
- Train and provide the sales team with information on finance programs and the benefits of utilizing in-house financing and extended service programs
- Assist the Sales Manager with various duties related to customer sales and financing services
Supervisory Responsibilities :
This position does not have supervisory responsibilities
Qualifications:
- High school diploma
- 2 years’ experience in a customer service role
- Previous Finance, Accounting, or Banking experience in a retail environment helpful
- Weekend work required
