Alsip MiniMill is part of the Corrugated Supplies Company family of brands. We are a corrugated paper manufacturer, recycling over 250,000 tons of cardboard annually.
We have a opportunity for an UltiPro HRIS and Training Analyst to join our team.
Position Summary:
- This role will work with the HR Team, Operations Manager, Shift Team Leads, and HR Director, to document, track, and ensure accountability for execution of planned Operations Skills Training in compliance with team training plans and training process requirements. This role will also support various HR related functions including recruiting and onboarding, and assisting with a wide range on HR initiatives.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Serve as the UltiPro system expert and primary point of contact for the day-to-day support of business processes, integrations, reporting and dashboards to ensure consistent, high quality business operations.
- Partner with our HR team and other internal stakeholders to help them define business requirements, implement, test and deploy additional modules, changes to business processes, or integrations as needed.
- Develop documentation and training materials for new and existing processes, and serve as the UltiPro ambassador throughout the organization, by driving user adoption internally by educating and training users, and externally by participating in the UltiPro community.
- Lead monthly meeting with each team lead (one shift per week) to review status of team’s skills training plan; identify obstacles to effective execution and possible solutions; review documentation errors in need of correction; and discuss any questions or concerns. Drive re-scheduling as required by mill needs.
- Participate in AMM-USW executive board’s training discussion regarding status of production training.
- Identify documentation and process errors and coach team leads and technicians to understand and correctly implement the skills training process.
- Deploy and support training tracking in UKG. Maintain audit-ready and current training records and status tracking with zero errors and high quality of completed documentation. Compare shift report training data with payroll data; resolve discrepancies. Update tracking systems in UKG and ensure accuracy.
- Provide forms and training materials to technicians in training.
- Develop and generate status reports for mill, team, and individual training on periodic basis (for example, “70%” reports) and upon request.
- Plan and execute assigned projects. Identify and initiate, or recommend for larger projects, improvement opportunities.
- Complete Purchase Order Requests to support Human Resources procurement needs.
- In the absence of the HR Generalist, provide coverage as needed.
Minimum Qualifications
- Four year degree plus 3-4 years business experience; or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 3 years of strong experience in UKG/UltiPro/Kronos
- Intermediate Microsoft Office skills, including Work, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Teams.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to collaborate and work as part of a team.
- Schedule flexibility to support periodic meetings and trainings outside of business hours.
Education
Preferred- Bachelors or better in Human Resource Administration
