Entry-level Procurement & Operations Analyst opportunities will be responsible for quoting, purchasing and expediting materials and supplies from vendors. As well as maintaining vendor relationships, focusing on quality, cost and delivery.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree required
  • A degree in one of the following majors preferred:
    • Business
    • Supply Chain Management
    • Operations Management
• Prior industry experience preferred
• Knowledge of supply chain principles and concepts preferred
• Prior Oracle experience preferred
• Prior interaction with Altec team at a recruitment event highly preferred

Potential Responsibilities

• Maintain supplier performance scorecards; which evaluate suppliers in regards to quality, delivery and cost.
• Maintain supplier documents and assist iProcn evaluating potential suppliers.
• Participate in lean manufacturing initiatives and Kaizen activities.
• Authorize payment of invoices
• Negotiate prices, discount terms and transportation for merchandise.
• Purchase and expedite all components and services related to the manufacture of finished product, maintenance, repair and operations requirements.
• Initiate cost savings opportunities with suppliers.
