SUMMARY:
Responsible for pulling, preparing, and labeling all daily orders. Ensures that all orders pulled, match the exact quantity, lot number and are from the correct location as indicated on the pick-list. Provides shipping assistance as needed. Responsible for moving product from one location to another as needed. Maintains a neat and clean work environment. Transports and delivers local customer orders. Ensures loads are stacked or palletized in accordance with prescribed storage methods, considering such factors as size, weight, quantity and safety. Insures that all shipments are correctly labeled, packed, or created. Checks all orders against documentation to verify box count and quantity. Picks up local will calls in the surrounding area. Responsible for general maintenance of company vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:
- Pull orders on the pick list with 100% accuracy ensuring that the part numbers, description, lot number and quantity match the pick-list
- Ensure orders are staged in their proper location
- Maintains inventory accuracy of 100% (when making an inter-warehouse transfer transaction)
- Ensures all palletized freight is prepared properly and has all the necessary documentation attached
- Receives and reviews the daily pick-list identifying any discrepancies, and notifying the shipping supervisor of any discrepancies
- Regularly check Precor program list to ensure that it matches the pick-list
- Prepares all orders correctly i.e. all skidded freight is weighed, wrapped, labeled with the correct address label and all shipping labels attached
- Stages prepared freight in proper location and places mall packages by the UPS/FedEx machine
- Update shipping manager so that daily shipping activities can be monitored to optimize daily delivery activities
- Check packing slips for accuracy; identify errors and make corrections and deletions as needed
- Prepare items for delivery quickly and accurately; loads and unloads product as needed
- Distribute various material received and provides routine information about the material
- Pick-up and deliver will calls as needed
- Ensure that all daily, shipping and receiving commitments to customers are met in a timely manner
- Maintain vehicles in good order, including daily, weekly and monthly service checks
- Maintain cleanliness of all vehicles - inside and out
- Responsible for security of vehicles
- Ships small packages off of the UPS/FedEx machines as needed
- Transfers product from one location to another, as needed maintaining data accuracy
- Provide feedback to managers and customer service personnel about daily deliveries as requested
- Distribute any materials picked-up to appropriate areas
- Operate forklift and floor jacks in a safe manner
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma or GED
- 6 months warehouse experience preferred
- Strong verbal and written communications skills
- Computer literate
- Basic mathematical skills
- One year or longer, prior experience driving vehicles that are 1 ½ tons or larger
- Able to pass and maintain DOT physical requirements
- Fork lift driving experience preferred
- Possession of a valid Driver’s License
- No traffic violations in the past 3 years
- Be an active participant and supporter of continuous improvement
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities
- Ability to simultaneously navigate and manage multiple programs
