Responsibilities
Under limited supervision, the MDU Account Representative sells telecommunication services and connectivity solutions to residential multi dwelling unit tenants who reside primarily in an assigned portfolio of properties. These properties are in an environment which is competitive with multi provider availability. MAR employees are assigned property portfolios where there are no property level Point of Lease incentives in place and are accountable for meeting or exceeding sales goals. This is a salaried role with an additional monthly commission plan based on both personal and team performance.
Responsibilities:
- Provides quality internal and external customer service surrounding the Company values and focused on client retention
- Sells video, data and telephony, and ancillary products directly to residential clients
- Prospects, cold calls (by phone, email, and in person) and generates new sales opportunities both directly to consumer and through local property management relationships
- Develops and maintains strategic account plans for results attainment by property assigned
- Conducts presentations with clients and provides solutions to meet their needs
- Utilizes products and pricing set at the corporate level
- Updates essential property contact and residential client information in a timely manner
- Ensures customer satisfaction throughout sales cycle, including required follow-up and concern resolution
- Leverages relationships when possible with onsite property maintenance and leasing agents to maximize Altice’s preference as the provider of choice at assigned portfolio properties
- Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Three years residential or commercial sales experience
- Computer skills including Windows-based applications
- Strong negotiation, problem solving and analytical skills
- Strong people and relationship management skills
- Ability to prioritize and organize effectively
- Ability to analyze accurately with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and with others
- Ability to comply with all Company safety procedures
- Appropriate valid driver's license and driving record within Company standards
- Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to worknights and weekends, variable schedule(s) as necessary.
Preferred Experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred
- Consultative selling experience preferred
