Director Of Product
As Director of Product, you will work with customers and cross-functional teams within Altvia to define priorities and roadmaps, develop business requirements, work cross-functionally to get products to market and execute product performance targets. You will build features from existing ideas and create new ideas based on industry experience, research, and your contact with customers and prospects. Successful candidates will possess a unique blend of business and technical savvy, a big-picture vision, and the drive to make that vision a reality. You should enjoy spending time in the market, understanding our clients’ problems, and partnering with design and engineering colleagues to conceive and deliver solutions.
What you’ll be doing:
- Develop & execute the product vision by managing the product roadmap and prioritizing initiatives to achieve business objectives.
- Utilize and optimize feedback loops from clients and customer teams to improve the voice of customers in the product development lifecycle.
- Work with GTM Teams to identify unmet customer needs to drive growth.
- Partner with product marketing to develop campaigns to drive product adoption and utilization of new and existing features.
- Gather and inform product decisions with quantitative and qualitative data.
- Hire, lead & grow a team of high-performing Product Managers & Product Owners.
- Establish throughput baselines for the product team and design to better estimate delivery dates for product team output.
- Know our customers, their challenges, and how they deal with them today, and provide guidance and direction to the Product Team to continue improving overall customer knowledge.
- Responsible for engaging extensively with consumers to gain first-hand insight into the consumers’ and market feedback on the business’s product.
- Conduct product research; establish and maintain competitive intelligence and various market analyses that supplement and complement the study already conducted by product managers.
- You will serve as the internal and external evangelist for your product offering and work with sales, marketing, and key customers to help them understand the product positioning, key benefits, and the value of our product features.
- Specify market requirements for current and future products by conducting market research supported by ongoing visits to customers and non-customers.
- Recommend pricing strategy, and understand competitive positioning for our product offering.
- Develop and implement a company-wide go-to-market plan, working with all departments to execute it.
- Partner with our senior leadership team to think big-picture and long-term about how our products will need to evolve in the coming years.
Requirements:
- 6 years of Product Management leadership experience in tech, web, or SAAS-based business.
- BA/BS in a technical or quantitative field.
- Ability to develop and execute a successful product roadmap with a proven track record of managing all aspects of a successful product throughout its lifecycle
- Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to influence decisions at all levels of the organization
- Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to roll up one’s sleeves to get the job
- Successful history of delivering customer-driven products designed to create a great customer experience
- Demonstrated capability of developing and evangelizing a shared vision across the organization, with both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Have a proven ability to manage complex business problems across internal and external cross-functioning teams
- A track record of working closely and effectively with engineering and partner teams.
- A great eye for product and insists on high-quality delivery
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong execution and ability to drive work to completion
- Proven record building and optimizing features for SAAS products.
- Experience with APIs and third-party integrations.
- Experience with Salesforce suite of products and architecture tools (Nice to have)

- Total compensation range for this role $140,000 - $200,000 (DOE)
