We are hiring a Heat Treat Operator!
What You'll Do:
- Follow safety rules and keep work area clean and orderly.
- Read production schedules and work orders to determine processing sequences, furnace temperatures, and heat cycle requirements for objects to be heat-treated.
- Set up and operate or tend machines, such as furnaces and age ovens using heat-treating charts and knowledge of methods, equipment, and metals. Process parts in accordance to part instruction manual.
- Prepare and interpret required production and quality reports
- Notify supervisor or maintenance department of equipment problems. Perform forklift safety inspection daily.

Requirements
What We Need from You:
- High School Diploma or Equivalency
- Knowledge of TS-16949 Quality System
- Higher level of mechanical aptitude
- Ability to work with numbers and work to a demanding schedule
- Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods
- Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance
- Forklift Certification
- Ability to drive forklift
- Employees are expected to work onsite to attend in person meetings and collaborate as necessary
