What are the responsibilities and job description for the GIOCC Ops Risk Assessor position at Alutiiq?
The GIOCC Operations Risk Assessor provides risk assessment expertise to support Global Integrated Operations Coordination Center (GIOCC) mission tasks for the Nuclear Enterprise Center at Offutt AFB.
The GIOCC Operations Risk Assessor:
- Assist the government to develop weekly assessment of strategic activities (ASA) products to support the mission of the Global Integrated Operations Coordination Center to facilitate better coordination of global effects across the joint force.)
- Gather operations and activities inputs from all combatant commands and provide assessments on adversary’s threat perceptions of those operations and activities. The contractor shall coordinate their adversary threat perception assessments with the Intelligence Community to include in final products.
- Research intelligence and open sources to gather information on adversary reactions to strategic operations and activities in order to support long term analysis of how strategic operations and activities affect adversary behaviors and perceptions in regard to achieving global campaign objectives
Lead working group meetings to review ASA inputs and draft products to facilitate input and adjustments to final ASA products

At least 8 years of experience in the following:
- Strategic deterrence operation capabilities and procedures, and experience in CCMD operations development and coordination; an understanding of Chairman, Joint Chiefs of Staff Instructions, Manuals.
At least 3 years of experience in the following:
- Familiarity with the Joint Risk Analysis process and how it applies to strategic deterrence environment; applying strategic deterrence expertise, providing support for timely strategic risk capability assessments and advice on mitigation options; experience employing crosscutting methodology to measure risk for integrated systems; proficiency in building risk metrics and maintaining framework for assessments.
- Background and training in one or more of USSTRATCOM assigned UCP missions, assignment at the Combatant Command, Joint Staff, Service, or MAJCOM level.
- Developing responses for Senior-level decision documentation at the Combatant Command, Joint Staff, or DoD OSD levels; and staffing complex packages and adjudicating content.
