An opportunity exists in London for a high performing qualified forensic accountant with a proven track record in Disputes who wishes to further their career with like-minded, highly motivated, analytical, inquisitive professionals in building the best in class for Forensic Services. We have an excellent profile in the Disputes market, a wide network of law firm work providers and significant inbound referral potential from other parts of Alvarez & Marsal. You will work closely with the expert witness Partners to provide litigation consulting, prepare forensic analysis and expert reports and give expert testimony. This position is best suited to a qualified Forensic Accountant who has worked on both accounting and financial disputes regionally and internationally. We will consider a candidate at Director or Senior Director level. Critical capabilities At Director level you will have experience of managing smaller projects/ larger workstreams and are beginning to take a leading role in Business Development by attending marketing events and developing your own network. You will have directly assisted the named expert, be valued by clients, prepared expert reports and supported senior members of the team. You will also have taken a proactive lead in supporting practice and risk management and the development of staff. In addition to the above, at Senior Director level you will be an effective manager of large-scale projects and will have acted as a leader on smaller projects. Clients value you as a developing expert and you are actively involved in Business Development and further developing networks in the UK market. Appreciated by clients for your analytical and technical ability in Disputes and Litigation, you will have 10 years of experience in a Big 4 dispute consulting practice or professional services firm. You must be a qualified accountant with extensive dispute and expert report writing experience and have a growing network of work providers in the UK. Fluency in English is essential as is experience of working in the UK. First class report writing skills and excellent written and oral communication skills are essential.
