What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant Professor of Chemistry position at Alvernia University?
The College of Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics at Alvernia University seeks a tenure track Assistant Chemistry Professor to begin the 2023-2024 academic year. We seek candidates who hold a Ph.D. in chemistry or a related discipline. Preference will be given to applicants with research and teaching experience in the field of physical chemistry. Primary responsibilities include teaching undergraduate lecture and laboratory courses in general and physical chemistry.
Required Qualifications:
Candidates should provide evidence of quality teaching experience and scholarly productivity. Experience with teaching courses in general and/or physical chemistry is desirable.
