Always Compassionate is seeking an Onboarding Specialist with experience building relationships with new employees and assisting them with transitioning into their roles within the Always Compassionate team. The primary responsibility is introducing new employees to the company culture, values, and mission; they will focus on supporting new employees throughout their onboarding process. The Onboarding specialist will also help new hires understand their roles within the company and what is expected of them. The ideal candidate will have experience hiring Home Health Aid and Patient Care Assistants.
Responsibilities:
- Welcoming newly hired employees and executing an engagement plan throughout the onboarding journey; managing the completion of the onboarding process, ensuring a great experience for new employees and a smooth start into their roles.
- Review onboarding documents to ensure compliance and accuracy based on regulatory practices including I-9, E-Verify, and work/education verification.
- Take the lead organizing and presenting Always Compassionate Orientation on a weekly basis.
- Ensuring new hires have technical assistance to properly set up their hardware/software and distribute manuals, passwords, and guidelines, as needed.
- Auditing data and setting up employee profiles in internal HR systems; assisting with the coordination, preparation, and distribution of employee documentation.
- Develop meaningful relationships to assist new hires to best gauge their needs during the onboarding and orientation process.
- Identifying innovative and creative new ways to onboard new employees/reach a more scalable and measurable onboarding experience.
- Work closely with the Recruitment Team to drive success in the full cycle recruitment of all new hires and foster a team-based approach to better improve efforts and processes.
Qualifications:
- Education: Associates degree 2 years’ experience as a Human Resources Coordinator/Onboarding Specialist.
- Experience presenting in front of small and larger groups.
- Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities: Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to administer business processes and requests consistently with general supervision.
- Proficiency in navigating various technology applications and all Microsoft programs.
- Bilingual a plus.
