What are the responsibilities and job description for the Commercial Account Manager position at Amadeus?
Summary of the role:
Are you the next Commercial Account Manager we are looking for?
- You will manage the commercial relationships and revenue generation of a portfolio of existing customers in cooperation with the ITAM and Customer Solutions team in order to maintain a high standard of customer satisfaction and profitability.
- You will develop Amadeus customer accounts, contribute in sustaining and growing Amadeus market share and revenues to achieve long-term success with the customers.
In this role you’ll:

Retain and grow existing market shares and revenues:
- Adopt a consultative approach
- Identify specific requirements and expectations for existing clients
- Follow-up with Customer Experience and ensure that customer satisfaction is increased
- Identify new opportunities and propose solutions to improve customer profitability/efficiency.
- Develop customized account and Account Development Plan (ADP) for each client and update CRM with all opportunities related to customers

Manage all commercial matters related to accounts:
- Execute & process the operational requests received from key customer
- Ensure that key customers make best use of Amadeus technology & that the established performance, productivity & service metric are achieved
- Work with ITAM or Customer Solutions to retain and grow IT portfolio
- Organize regular business reviews for follow-up purposes and deep-dive sessions on specific items
- Work closely with Commercial Operations to get business case approval for renewal and development of market share
- Understand business needs in order to build strong relationships, develop share of wallet, sell and implement Amadeus solutions-with support of ITAM / Customer Solutions when needed and relevant depending on cases with existing customers.
- Maintain a high level of understanding of the current product portfolio and benefits of specific products for each targeted customer segment. As well as up-to-date knowledge of other segment-relevant information (trends, strategy, competitors, pricing, etc.)
- Ensure external communication specific to their current accounts to top management in alignment with the agreed communication plans.
- Provide inputs and feedback to the Segment Marketing Customer Solution teams in order to prepare and adjust the communication plan.
About the ideal candidate:
- Education: University degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering
- Relevant Work Experience: Minimum 5 years’ experience in IT solutions sales, marketing, account management and/or project management in a commercial and business environment; preferably in the Travel industry on Travel IT solutions and ideally Amadeus.
- Business Understanding: Has a good understanding of the Travel industry, digital trends and Amadeus role

Skills:
- Computing: Software project management / Agile; systems architecture / programming skills are a plus
- Languages: English fluent - Spanish is a plus
- Specific Knowledge: Sales, negotiation, consultative selling, problem solving, influencing
- Other: Relationship builder, inclusive and result driven mindset
