What are the responsibilities and job description for the Process Engineer position at AMAX?
Job Functions:
Develop and implement manufacturing processes to maintain proper product functionality, as well as cost efficiency.
Develop and evaluate equipment/tools/fixtures to aid in the manufacturing process.
Configure BOM's/routings in accordance with the product structure and submit/approve through the ECO in Agile system.
Provide training and work with customers and QA team for corrective and preventive actions.
Design and improve production layout.
Estimate and improve standard manufacturing processing time for production planning and cost estimation.
Ensure project/department milestones/goals are met.
Be ability to troubleshoot and diagnose complex issues.
Perform all other duties, as assigned.
Requirements
Essential Job Requirements:
BS, MS, or equivalent in Industrial, Mechanical, or Electronic Engineering.
Experience in an electronic devices manufacturing environment preferred.
Working effectively and accurately under narrow time limitations.
Ability to work independently in a fast paced dynamic environment; communicating clearly and concisely verbally and in writing.
An ability to think logically and critically that helps to weigh various available options and take the best decision in favor of efficient production.
High motivation and desire to do whatever it takes to help the customers and our company succeed.
Server and/or Rack products experience preferred.
NPI and sustaining production environment experience preferred.
