Job summary Amazon is seeking an Analyst, Transfer Pricing candidate to join the Tax Department to focus on supporting Amazon’s U.S. and international related party transactions. The Analyst, Transfer Pricing candidate should have transfer pricing experience and be comfortable directly liaising with various business teams within the company and with other members of the global tax department. Amazon’s transfer pricing group deals with all aspects of the company's global intercompany arrangements. Responsibilities: · Support implementation of transfer pricing policies with benchmarking and documentation · Preparation and review of intercompany agreements · Monitor transfer pricing policies against outcomes · Provide ad hoc support to stakeholders engaged in planning, controversy and compliance related activities · Develop process improvement initiatives in the transfer pricing operations and compliance processes
- Public accounting, consulting and/or multinational corporation experience preferred.
- Strong understanding of accounting and economic concepts.
- Excellent analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to extract, analyze, and review data and make appropriate recommendations.
- Detail-oriented individual who is self-motivated and takes ownership of projects.
- Hard working, quick learner with a positive ''can do'' attitude and solid professionalism.
- Work effectively in a team environment and partner well with people at all levels within an organization.
- Able to work in a dynamic, fast paced, informal, often ambiguous and rapidly changing business environment.
- Experience applying & implementing U.S. and International Transfer Pricing Laws and Regulations.
- Advanced communication (written and verbal) skills
