ABOUT THIS ROLE
As a member of the US Publisher Partnerships team, you will hold a multifaceted role that helps determine and execute Audible’s strategic initiatives concerning its content partners, including some of the world’s biggest publishers.
You will work with various departments across the business to assist in the development, execution, and management of our relationships with content partners.
Through your business knowledge and negotiation skills, you will work with the team to help design and implement deal structures and drive Audible’s growth into the future.
ABOUT YOU
You’re an analytical and creative thinker who can ask the right questions and develop a point of view that will influence decisions and drive Audible’s continued success.
You have proven decision-making, problem-solving, and quantitative skills with demonstrated ability to manage the business by the numbers.
You have experience working collaboratively with external partners, managing relationships, negotiating, and helping execute new initiatives.
As a Specialist, US Publisher Partnerships, you will...
- Engage directly with publishers to proactively develop Audible’s relationships with them, respond to their needs and requests, and identify opportunities that support Audible’s strategic goals
- Develop and evaluate deal structures and economics in partnership with stakeholders within Audible (Finance, Product, Content, Legal, Strategy, etc.)
- Negotiate terms for new distribution and content opportunities
- Assist in the creation of reports and presentations for executives that communicate financial analysis, strategic perspective, and drive toward a recommendation
- Perform ad hoc analysis to support the department’s decision-making
- Monitor the competitive landscape to identify emerging areas of opportunity and potential risks

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field
- 2 years of successful relationship management and negotiation experience
- Demonstrated proficiency in analyzing and interpreting data to inform strategic decisions
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to express ideas clearly, succinctly, and persuasively
- Outstanding interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with both cross-functional teams and external partners under competing deadlines
- Diplomacy and sensitivity in handling delicate conversations within a collaborative environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Proven success or keen interest in digital media and publishing
- Well-versed in current media trends and the evolution of technology distribution platforms
