AWS Training and Certification (T&C) is passionate about training and certifying customers of all shapes and sizes and revolutionizing the way people advance their cloud IT skills and careers. We are seeking talented Content Manager who is passionate about cloud technology, learning, and storytelling and can effectively develop and manage content to help us communicate to a diverse, global audience.

As the Content Manager on the T&C communications team, you will inspire and inform internal and external global teams with great storytelling. A key part of this role is content management, building a scalable process to house, create, update, and retire content used across the organization. You have excellent writing and editing skills, and can establish a professional, consistent message across a range of communications channels and audiences. You're passionate about learning and helping others learn too. In this role, you'll provide developmental/structural writing support for messaging and content developed by other stakeholders. Responsibilities
  • Manage and enhance our global library of standard content including (but not limited to) presentations, messaging frameworks, customer research summaries, and FAQs.
  • Write and edit compelling and effective copy for a variety of internal and external audiences, using content to elevate the T&C brand through effective storytelling.
  • Work effectively across teams within T&C, Communications, and Marketing to develop and manage content.
  • Maintain a scalable, repeatable process for content input, development, and reviews.
  • Track and report content metrics, and make recommendations to increase content’s usage and impact.
  • Provide developmental and copy editing support that improves the content, structure, style, tone, and grammar of a variety of content types, including business narratives, emails, blogs, and presentations.
  • Contribute to building toolkits, templates, training, and processes to promote self-service and communication best practices across the organization.
  • Propose and promote writing and communications standards, and actively participate in creating mechanisms to scale best practices across the organization.
While the preference for this role is to sit or relocate to Seattle, WA, we will also consider candidates in locations with an AWS office.

The pay range for this position in Colorado is $85,500 - $150,100/yr; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A sign-on bonus and restricted stock units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered.   • Experience in a business-to-business (B2B) environment; IT/technology marketing experience preferred.
