We are seeking a bright, customer-obsessed, driven, and creative individual to join our team as a Central Operations Manager. This role has evolved to focus more on managing the assets post-successful ingestion from external partners and content distributors, emphasizing centralized post-ingestion assets management. The aim is to create a friction-free and tech issue-free seamless experience for the 'last mile' of content routing from our internal catalog to the customer-facing storefront. The successful candidate will be responsible for the timely and cost-effective publish of source materials, driving publishing improvements, and developing key performance metrics.
The Role:
As a Central Operations Manager, we are looking for a people leader who brings innovation and simplicity to space and drive solution for supply chain efficiency, and continuous process improvement. In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead a team and work with various stakeholders, including global cross-functional teams within Amazon, internal partner ops management, and technical teams from both sides. Key job responsibilities
- Hire and develop the best to recruit, grow, retain, and promote talents
- Manage the on-time contents publish post-success ingestion
- Drive long-term strategic partnerships, ensuring timely and cost-effective publish of source materials, consistently leaving it better than you found it
- Prepare for operational expansions, ensuring readiness for additional content categories
- Oversee the Monthly Business Review process and maintain a unified team wiki for seamless intake workflows
- Be engaged in product development with our product managers and our engineering teams, ensuring operator use cases are correctly represented
- Drive operational efficiency by continually refining operational processes and influencing product/engineering teams to enable automation
- Act as a regional subject matter expert, ready for on-call duties and high-severity ticket support
- Conduct analysis to identify opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction

Drive innovation in publishing capabilities by influencing and partnering with the engineering and tech teams.
Define the digital supply chain road map, gain alignment across multiple key stakeholders, and execute on goals.
Design workflow strategies for accelerated content publish in multiple languages, formats, and platforms, while simplifying and eliminating redundant practices.
Streamline business and technology solutions that strengthen our partnerships while advancing our services.
Work effectively in a team environment and cross-functionally with Prime Video Catalog technology teams, engineers, Studio Productions, Analytics, Product, and Video Content Services.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Previous supervisory experience, including hiring, developing, and leading teams with 3 direct reports
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams to deliver products and projects on tight deadlines
- Experience coordinating complex program development cycles
- Intermediate skills utilizing Excel for data tracking and analytics
- Experience managing, analyzing, presenting, and communicating relevant results to senior management
- Strong attention to detail, end-to-end ownership, and driving results
- Demonstrated ability to think creatively, deal with ambiguity, and manage changing and competing priorities
- Clear verbal and written communication, including effective communication with both business and technical teams
- Bachelor’s degree or 3 years of equivalent professional experience
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 5 years of experience in Digital Supply Chain, Account Management, Partner Management, Supply Chain/Operational Management, or business development at large global organizations
- Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field
- Advanced skills with Excel and Access (or similar database), including data visualization, basic formulas, and pivot tables
- Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally with engineering, design, and marketing/business counterparts to deliver online products/services
- Ability to understand customers and their behavior in order to drive new feature development
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, including strong writing and speaking skills
- Advanced ability to draw insights from data and clearly communicate them (verbal/written) to the stakeholders and executives as required
- Be self-driven, and show ability to deliver on ambiguous projects with incomplete or imperfect data

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $154,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $256,100/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
