DESCRIPTION
Amazon Kids (AK ) is a highly rated, much-loved content and controls subscription service for kids 3-12 (and their parents) in the US, Canada, UK, Germany and Japan. Launched more than 10 years ago, an Amazon Kids subscription (which includes thousands of ad-free, age-appropriate videos, books, games and apps) is bundled with Amazon’s many child-directed devices or standalone offerings, including Echo Kids, Fire Tablet Kids, Kindle Kids, FireTV and the mobile kids app. In this role, you’ll support creative strategy, design, and production for the AK brand, including support for GTM campaigns and development of ongoing, foundational marketing and brand assets.
Key job responsibilities
- Innovate and develop creative concepts and branding that raises the bar and engages with our customers
- Lead creative development on a wide range of creative projects (digital ad campaigns, web pages, social media content creation, etc.) based on a quarterly prioritization queue
- Help improve upon the depth and clarity of resources found on the AK brand portal to ensure execution is easy for partners across functional teams (e.g., Marketing, Product Management, UX, Content, etc.)
- Be an expert in the AK brand guidelines, including visual design elements (colors, iconography)
- Ensure AK photo and video assets remain contemporary, accurate, compliant and useful for AK Marketing and kids-edition device marketers in all AK marketplaces
- Stay well-versed in Amazon corporate brand architecture guidelines and expectations
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 3 years minimum experience in brand design and marketing creative (this is not a UX Design Role)
- BFA/BA/BS in Design or equivalent industry experience
- A creative portfolio demonstrating relevant design experience
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience in branding and 360 digital ad campaigns
- Experience designing for Social Media (Paid and Organic)
- Advanced knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign)
- Working knowledge of Microsoft office programs (Word, Powerpoint, Excel, Outlook)
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to take creative projects all the way to final delivery
- Strong communication skills
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently
- Retail web or streaming service experience
- Beginner knowledge or more in Figma
- Beginner knowledge or more in After Effects animation skills
- Photoshoot and video production experience

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $108,400/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
