Job summary
Come join our AWS Infrastructure Finance team as a Financial Analyst. You will be joining AWS Finance team as we partner with Annapurna Labs Engineers and Operations team to build the next generation products for AWS. You will have exposure to several cutting-edge products at AWS.
The successful candidate will be highly analytical, process-oriented and able to work effectively across multiple finance and business teams. This is a critical role on the team working with multiple stakeholders including Accounting, Annapurna Business and other AWS teams. This is a high visibility Candidate must be hands on and dive deep into the data.
Primary responsibilities include:
• Build strong business partnering relationships by providing data-driven and decision-supporting analytics.
• Serve as subject matter expert on Annapurna’s COGs, inventory valuation.
• P&L and Balance Sheet Analysis review with accounting and leadership.
• Partner with system team to continuously drive financial controllership and improve forecasting accuracy.
• Understand internal control design concepts sufficient to assess the effectiveness of controls in their area and to design new processes and controls for emerging and growing business activities.
• Serve as key business partner working directly with internal stakeholders to provide insights into key financial trends. You must have the ability to structure problems, perform analysis and present to your business partners, exhibiting the ability to dissent, while building trust with your business partners.
• Understanding accounting and financial principles and how to apply them.
• An eye towards continuous process improvement, including the ability to innovate and simplify both finance and operational processes.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (cost accounting) and a Minimum of 3 years of experience in a large company.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• CPA or Master’s in Accounting, or equivalent preferred.
• Prior experience in semiconductor industry.
• Knowledge of SQL, Business Intelligence tools, or the willingness to learn
• Intermediate to advanced Excel skills.
• Experience with Cognos TM1, or similar financial systems preferred, but not required.
• Ability to work independently and self-motivate in a fast-paced and rapidly
changing environment; high tolerance for ambiguity.
• A work ethic based on a strong desire to exceed expectations.
• Strong interpersonal skills, including written and oral communication skills.
Proven track record of advanced analytical skills, attention to detail, dealing with ambiguity, and ability to work cross functionally in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple competing priorities simultaneously and drive projects to completion.
• Strong presentation skills and the ability to guide and influence senior leadership.
