Power and Cooling(PAC) Team is actively seeking an individual for a detail-oriented, experienced, and professional New Product Introduction (NPI) Program Manager. The individual will own NPI supportability readiness and take a lead role in ensuring the successful development and launch of new electrical infrastructure products.
The role is focused specifically on “New” technologies and processes. The position will work with engineering teams to ensure that new technologies can be assisted by our field teams during test and once they are launched into operations. To be successful, this NPI Program Manager must be comfortable working in a highly ambiguous technical environment.
Key job responsibilities
- Establish and maintain a robust relationship with key stakeholders within the Engineering organizations and Product teams
- Develop a deep and complete comprehension of product supportability and what it means for PAC to successfully assist a new technology
- Plan, develop, and implement NPI supportability processes and related work.
- Provide updates on product supportability and readiness to Sr Leadership to accept NPIs graduating test phases
- Develop cross-functional program plans to cover all areas of supportability, including technical, safety and hardware assistance, etc.
- By working with the Hardware Development Teams, the individual will help clarify supportability design requirements for new hardware and software.
- The individual will surface roadblocks and propose alternatives to Sr. Leadership at the local and global levels to help with making decisions.
- Identify supportability gaps during development and test phases, provide recommendations, and develop corrective proposal plans to drive closure to the gaps.

About the team
PAC is a global team that owns the delivery of all electrical and mechanical equipment for AWS owned data centers. Within PAC, PAC Electrical team is responsible for switchgear and power distribution cabinets and this role will have focus on new product development as it realtes to these 2 product lines.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 7 years of technical product or program management experience
- 7 years of working directly with engineering teams experience
- Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science or equivalent
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 7 years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience
- Experience managing projects across cross functional teams, building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedules
- Experience defining KPI's/SLA's used to drive multi-million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $118,400/year in our lowest geographic market up to $220,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
