DESCRIPTION
Job summary
Amazon is seeking a Transfer Pricing Senior Analyst to focus on supporting Amazon’s related party transactions for various digital businesses including Prime Video, Amazon Robotics, and Zoox.
Amazon’s transfer pricing group deals with all aspects of the company's global intercompany arrangements, from intercompany agreements to operationalizing intercompany transactions.
Your responsibilities include:
- Developing, executing, and maintaining the company’s intercompany transfer pricing policies
- Assisting with tax audits and APAs
- Collecting and analyzing relevant data & information
- Preparing transfer pricing documentation reports
- Analyzing business and planning strategies
- Supporting M&A integration
- Directly liaising and partnering with various business teams and with other members of the global tax department at all levels of the organization
- Working with the broader transfer pricing team to ensure consistency and driving process simplification
- Managing and working with outside advisers
Preferred locations are Seattle, Washington or Arlington, Virginia.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 4 years of experience in tax, finance or a related analytical field.
- Transfer Pricing experience in public accounting/consulting firms;
- Bachelor’s degree required, in Economics, Finance, Accounting or related field
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Comfortable applying & implementing International Transfer Pricing Laws and Regulations across the EU
- Advanced communication (written and verbal) skills in English.
- Application of accounting and economic concepts;
- Comfortable with working with IT systems to extract, analyze, and review data and make appropriate recommendations;
- Detail-oriented individual who is self-motivated and takes ownership of projects;
- A quick learner with a positive ''can do'' attitude and solid professionalism; and
- Able to work in a dynamic, fast paced, informal, often ambiguous and rapidly changing business environment.
