DESCRIPTION
The BIM Manager works with cross-functional teams (Design, Construction, BIM Central, Tech, IT, Procurement, etc) in addition to external consultants and vendors throughout the store development process.
The ideal candidate has:
- 3 years of experience using Revit in retail or 2 years of experience providing training and support in Revit
- 3 years of experience using Microsoft Excel
- Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization
- Experience with scripting or software development using Revit API
- Ability to create and carry drawing and BIM standards through research, development and rollout with good understanding of quality and national standards
- Ability to export embedded data and schedules from BIM models to spreadsheets
- BIM360; Enscape; Bluebeam
Key job responsibilities
The BIM Manager works with cross-functional teams (Design, Construction, BIM Central, Tech, IT, Procurement, etc) in addition to external consultants and vendors throughout the store development process. The ideal candidate also:
• Creates parametric Revit materials, ensuring material take-offs, power consumption, and cost metadata is accurately embedded.
• Develops and maintains virtual content (such as, a library of Revit Families, project templates, and all standards within the REVIT environment etc)
• Integrates Revit with other applications such as construction project management, cost estimation and virtual merchandising.
• Creates BIM trainings and onboarding tools.
• Maintains and manages a relationship with BIM and software vendors for implemented tools.
• Uses data and metrics to drive improvements in program strategy and design software management.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 5 years of program or project management experience
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
- Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 2 years of driving process improvements experience
- Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $92,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
