Amazon's CPB team is looking for a Senior Product Manager to lead and execute strategic Selection projects with a North America and Worldwide CPB focus.
This is a cross-functional role, offering high exposure to the entire CPB business, across product categories. In addition, the role will work closely with a network of stakeholders in other Private Brands product families (Hardlines, Softlines) and geographies (North America, Europe, Japan).
The ideal candidate is an individual with a strategic mindset, strong analytical capabilities and project management skills, as well as ability to deliver through multiple stakeholders. The candidate should feel comfortable working in a non-playbook and entrepreneurial environment.
Key job responsibilities
Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $124,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $206,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits. Key job responsibilities
- Leading and executing strategic selection projects and developing scalable mechanisms to drive engagement with the wider CPB team
- Creating goals and related metrics, tracking progress and managing through obstacles to achieve targets
- Owning and participating in executive reviews, and driving follow through on actions identified
- Communicating complex findings and ideas clearly to stakeholders through critical thinking and an aptitude for problem-solving
- Collaborating with various teams to design, build and develop new features to support the CPB selection strategy and meet our customers everyday selection needs
- 5 years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
- Experience with end to end product delivery
- Experience working across functional teams and senior stakeholders
- Experience in influencing senior leadership through data driven insights
- SQL writing skills and experience working with databases
