Amazon's Grocery Robotics and Automation Systems team is seeking a proven technology leader to support the development and testing of advanced automation technologies at Amazon. The Technical Program Manager manages New Product Introduction (NPI) of Grocery Robotics Automation systems. This position requires the ability to innovate, analyze, organize, plan, schedule, implement, and deliver processes and projects to maximize safe, economical, and effective use of materials, energy, and people.

The Grocery Automation and Robotics Systems Team innovates, designs, develops, and integrate automation solutions to reduce cost and time to serve, while improving customer and employee experience for our Grocery operations. Our road map focuses on systematically improving every aspect of the Amazon’s Grocery operations from: associate experience, safety, costs, storage, throughput capacity, speed, flexibility, scalability, sustainability, operational performance and reliability. Our team members possess deep design experience and innovation skill-sets in these technical areas. We work closely with internal partner teams in all geographies to align priorities, eliminate duplication or waste. Our solutions are extremely cost effective, driving Customer value and experience. The team provides oversight and approvals for project technical feasibility, design and realization.

Basic Qualifications
Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $133,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $231,400/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits. Basic Qualifications
- 5 years of technical product or program management experience
- Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules
- 5 years relevant work experience in technical project engineering/management of highly automated systems and/or robotics
- 7 years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience
- Experience managing projects across cross functional teams, building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedules
- Experience defining KPI's/SLA's used to drive multi-million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership
- PMP certification
