Amdocs is looking for a Consulting Partner to be part of our Cloud business in North America who will be at the forefront of modern delivery techniques, work on complex cloud transformations, and garner strong enterprise governance experience in delivery, security, and risk management. Leveraging your experience, you will be able to impact large organizations with their adoption of both established and emerging cloud technologies
What will your job look like?
- Building strong relationships with client teams and developing a deep understanding of their business objectives and strategy-driving factors.
- Forming strong project team relationships by leading, coaching, and motivating team members, and identifying and resolving blockers or conflicts.
- Leading and nurturing best practice cloud delivery cultures in client teams that require guidance and assistance with turbo charging their cloud journey.
- Proactively setting and managing client and project team expectations and continually seeking opportunities to increase satisfaction and strengthen relationships.
- Creating and executing project work plans and revising as appropriate to meet changing needs and project demands.
- Tracking and reporting on project outcomes and providing transparent communication channels to clients, project teams, and other stakeholders.
- Proactively identifying project issues and risks, and creating action plans for resolving such issues and mitigating such risks.
- Managing security and operational risks inherent in cloud & digital transformation.
- Working with Client Success Managers and the Director of Business Development to manage client account plans and develop opportunities.
- Ensuring commercial changes are documented and approved through robust change control processes.
All you need is...
- B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or B.A., M.A. or M.B.A. in Business (as applied to High Tech Industries, preferred).
- 5 years of experience Cloud Technologies managing software delivery and/or cloud DevOps teams in an iterative delivery environment.
- PMP and/or Agile certification.
- You will be a high EQ individual that understands the value and importance of quality client/team relationships.
- Prior experience in professional services working with enterprise customers in fast-paced, uncertain environments. Experience in financial services, airlines, utilities, healthcare, or media is highly advantageous
- Strong business acumen, and comfort with; writing business cases, assisting with account(s) management, developing statements of work, and supporting commercial conversations
- Strong facilitation skills with demonstrated experience leading scoping and design sessions, sprint planning, client showcases, and managing geographically distributed teams
- Demonstrable exposure working with AWS, Azure, and/or Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- An understanding of cyber security and IT risk & control practices in cloud-based environments is highly advantageous
- An Agile personal work style, and demonstrated experience in dealing with, and resolving, ambiguity
- A track record of building successful relationships, both internally and externally
- A detail-oriented mindset with a flair for problem solving
- Excellent verbal, presentation and written communication skills including creating usable documentation and tools
- The ability to work at client sites for varying amounts of time each week as per client and project requirements.
