The Human Resources Specialist plays a crucial role in supporting all Amego divisions by assisting with a variety of HR functions. The Human Resources Specialist supports all staff members within the agency as well as other departments within the HR scope.
Primary Responsibilities Include:
- Support the recruiting department in the background check process, ensuring new hires meet all the required hiring conditions based on division of employment.
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures in accordance with labor laws and organizational objectives.
- Administer employee benefits, ensuring compliance and employee satisfaction.
- Provide guidance and support to employees and managers regarding HR-related inquiries and concerns.
- Maintain accurate employee records and HR databases.
- Contribute to fostering a positive organizational culture and employee engagement initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- Proven experience working in HR roles, preferably within the non-profit sector.
- Strong understanding of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulations.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with integrity and discretion.
- Proficiency in HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems) and MS Office Suite.
