Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Assembly Worker to join our production team. The Assembly Worker will be responsible for assembling products, components, or parts in a fast-paced environment, ensuring quality standards are met throughout the process. The ideal candidate is reliable, possesses manual dexterity, and has a strong work ethic. This position is for an evening shift from roughly 2:00-9:00 pm Monday-Thursday
Responsibilities
- Assemble products or components according to specifications, diagrams, or written instructions.
- Use hand tools or machinery to perform assembly tasks efficiently and safely.
- Inspect parts and products for defects or irregularities to ensure high-quality output.
- Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
- Maintain accurate records of production tasks, materials used, and any issues encountered.
- Troubleshoot basic assembly problems and report any machinery malfunctions to supervisors.
- Package and label finished products for shipping or distribution as needed.
Requirements
- Prior experience in assembly or manufacturing (preferred, but not required).
- Ability to read and understand blueprints, schematics, and work instructions.
- Strong manual dexterity and attention to detail.
- Basic mathematical skills for measuring and counting components.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
