What You'll Do
Responsibilities include the following:
- Assemble wheel, hub and spokes per engineering specs, customer specs and SOP’s, ensuring final wheel is true and tension measurements are accurate.
- Complete warranty card information and final quality inspection.
- Monitor process and parts for quality control.
- Cross-train as needed.
Preferred experience:
- 1 years’ experience lacing, truing, and building wheels, preferably as a bicycle technician.
- Experience using hand tools, including spoke wrench, truing stand, calipers, wheel alignment gauge and tension-meter.
- Knowledge of wheel truing process.
- Knowledge of cycling components and styles including rims, wheels, hubs, spokes, nipples, and bike.
