Job Description Summary
As a Machine Technician you will perform work within a union environment as dispatched to maintain equipment, systems, and processes to support manufacturing production.
Job Description
· Three to five years of past manufacturing experience preferably in an automotive supplier company
· Ability to check for backlash in a ball screw by using an indicator, also the removal & proper bearing set up and installation of ball screw assembly.
· Realign turret heads, spindles, chucks, etc. using indicatoSpindle removal, rebuild, replace
· Ability to read blueprints (bearing stack up, hydraulic systems)
· Hydraulic Cylinder and Pump removal, rebuild, replace
· Hydraulic System troubleshooting
· Mobile Crane License and Rigging
· Ability to work well with others and in teams.
· Perform other duties as required.
Required Skills and Education
· Possess a certified journeyperson’s card (or similar contractual Journeyperson status) or document a minimum of eight years of experience in specific trade from previous employers on company letterhead.
· Available to work overtime and flexible schedule as required within union facility agreement.
· Available to work any shift as required.
· Ability to pass pre-employment physical including drug testing
