Position Purpose/Summary

The Director of Marketing is committed to providing the highest quality of service to the communities, customers, and employees we serve by planning and driving the implementation of all marketing plans for all residential and commercial programs company wide.


Primary Duties & Responsibilities

  • Develop, plan, create, and implement marketing strategies for all residential and commercial programs.
  • Create, develop, and execute communication plans with a focus on customer segmentation, contact sequencing and event-based marketing triggers. Measure overall return on marketing investment against plan.
  • Collaborate with Finance, Sales, Legal, Regulatory, and Product Management during all phases of planning, assuring corporate branding and compliance with all regional/national policies and programs.
  • Closely partner with regional business units (RBUs) to create communications objectives, strategies and plans; including recommendation of communications tactics to deliver optimal visibility of strategic messages to key customers and decision-makers
  • Oversight of production; ensure delivery, execution, tracking and measurement of all marketing tactics and communications pieces.
  • Hire, motivate, and lead a high-performing team through coaching, top-tier talent retention, and directed recruiting efforts.
  • Supervises staff, including training, providing work direction, problem-solving assistance, reviewing performance, recommending salary increases, promotions, transfers, demotions, or terminations.
  • Performing all other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

  • Ability to work a flexible work schedule, as needed, to best serve our customers.
  • Ability to travel, as needed, for company meetings, industry trade shows, customer meetings, etc.

Qualifications

At a minimum, the Director of Marketing must have a high school diploma, or equivalent, along with 10-15 years of direct marketing and management experience and 5-7 years of traditional, digital, and direct marketing communications experience. A bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or equivalent field of study, along with 5-10 years of direct marketing and management experience and 5-7 years of traditional, digital, and direct marketing communications experience is preferred.
