ABC Supply, the nation’s largest distributor of exterior building products, is seeking an experienced, motivated Commercial Roofing Specialist to join its team. In this role, you will assist the outside sales team with all commercial jobs and projects. Work with manufacturers in ordering and delivering material to job sites in a timely manner. This position will enhance the service we provide to our customers while taking our sales to the next level. Specific duties may include: Utilizing resources, such as construction reports, to learn when commercial construction projects are coming to bid Completing estimating duties and facilitating takeoffs through Tapered Solutions Maintaining current pricing from the manufacturers Using expert application, installation and product knowledge to successfully meet goals Maintaining and conveying all relevant competitive sales knowledge directly to management Making recommendations and working closely with the Branch Manager to ensure acceptable margin levels Cultivating customer relationships and industry contacts within the market Specific qualifications include: A minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in commercial roofing sales/estimating A solid understanding of commercial roofing products and procedures Basic computer skills as well as experience with estimating software is a plus Experience with takeoffs Excellent communication skills Detail-oriented and self starting Benefits may include: Health, dental, and vision coverage - eligible after 60 days, low out of pocket 401(k) with generous company match - eligible after 60 days, immediately vested Employer paid employee assistance program Employer paid short term and long term disability Employer paid life insurance Flex spending Paid vacation Paid sick days Paid holidays Equal Opportunity Employer / Drug Free Workplace ABC Supply values diversity and we actively encourage women, minorities, and veterans to apply.
