What are the responsibilities and job description for the Driver cdl required position at American Driver?
CDL A Driver OTR - AVERAGE EARNINGS $1500-$1800
3 MONTHS MINIMUM OTR EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED
PAY : up to $.60 per MILE based on experience, plus bonuses based on safety, mileage and productivity
HOME TIME : 12 days out and 2 days (FULL 48HR) at home every other weekend
TYPE OF LOADS : DRY VAN, 100% no touch 80% DROP & HOOK
MILES : 2500 to 3000 miles each and every week, every driven mile pays the same
AVERAGE WEEKLY PAY : $1500-$1800
RUNNING AREA : majority is east of I-35, no forced dispatch into NYC or its 5 boroughs
EQUIPMENT : newer model Freightliners and KW T680, all well equipped
ADDITIONAL DETAILS :
- W2 with full benefits included, medical, dental, vision, 401k
- Detention and layover are paid, detention $12.50 per hour after 2nd hour, layover / breakdown $100 per day
- Pre-Pass Provided to bypass weight station
- RIDERS allowed, must be over 10 years old, we also have a pet policy
- No cameras in trucks
DRIVER REQUIREMENTS :
- Must have at least 3 months verifiable Class A OTR or Regional experience in the last 3 years.
- Must have a clean MVR with no DOT Preventable accidents recently
- Must not have major moving violations in the last 3 years. Includes both personal and CMV.
- No termination from previous jobs
- No DOT Recordable accidents in the last 4 years and cannot have more than one incident in the last 18 months.
- No more than 8 jobs in the last 3 years
- No DUI in PMV (never in CMV) in the last 7 years and only one in a lifetime
- Absolutely no SAP drivers can ever have failed a DOT Drug or Alcohol test
