Overview
Green Bay Dressed Beef LLC (Acme Street), an American Foods Group Company has opportunities for Lead III at our Acme plant.
As Lead III, you will:
- Ensure equipment is setup on time daily.
- Oversee production operations to provide for day-to-day control of assigned department activities according to prescribed schedules, priorities, operation sequence, and processing specifications. Oversee multiple departments or areas.
- Evaluate department work performance and take corrective action.
- Train employees in assigned areas.
- Develop and/or recommend improved production methods.
- Complete required paperwork.
- Ensure wash sinks are empty.
- Lock out/tag out equipment as needed; follow all Lock out/tag out procedures and safety rules.
- Assist with foreperson or supervisor duties when someone is absent.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications (Required):
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Must be able to work in the United States without sponsorship.
Must be able to work in a variety of work temperatures warm, hot, humid, cold, wet or with slippery surfaces at varied heights in and around moving equipment and parts with the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
Must be able to perform the job duties with or without reasonable accommodations.
- 3 months of work experience in Harvest.
- Must be able to effectively communicate in English (speak, read, and write).
- Ability to work extended scheduled hours Monday through Saturday with daily overtime. Must be able to work overtime as required. Start times and hours vary based on production needs.
- Must be able to successfully complete training:
- Safety.
- Safe Quality Food (SQF).
- Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
- Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP).
- Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Food defense.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior lead experience in a USDA inspected beef, pork or poultry facility.
- Ability to effectively communicate in Spanish (speak, read, and write).
- Prior production experience.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Work history in the last 12 months.
