Responsibilities
Job Purpose
The Dishwasher is responsible for ensuring the kitchen has a steady supply of clean plates, bowls, silverware, pots, pans, and glasses for the guests and members The ideal candidate can handle working in a bustling, fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
Responsibilities
- Scrape, rinse, and load dishes and utensils into dish machine
- Wash and sanitize all pans, utensils, and dishes
- Clean, sanitize, and maintain dish machine
- Unload dishes and utensils from dish machine and organize them properly
- Setup or break down dishwashing area
- Sweep/mop floors
- Maintain a clean work area and kitchen by sweeping and mopping as needed
- Perform additional cleaning duties as requested
- Clean food prep stations and equipment
- Clean machines and appliances used in the kitchen like coffee makers, pots and pans, mixers, etc.
- Take out trash and rinse garbage cans
- Report kitchen accidents or violations of food safety codes and procedures

Working Conditions

- Evening, weekend, and holiday work will be required
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be required to stand for long periods of time, to walk, read, hear, talk, balance, climb, use hands, use fingers, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, smell, taste, push or pull. The employee may be required to lift and carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
