Mgr-Mfg
Directs all activities associated with manufacturing operations in production center. Leads, plans and coordinates activities for all manufacturing departments within the facility. The incumbent would also be responsible for capital and expense budgets in all areas of responsibility. Expected to direct all functions for the manufacturing site including goal setting, performance evaluations, associate development and policy enforcement, safety and quality. Deals with highly sensitive and confidential issues pertaining to customer and vendor relations, corporate finance, and risk management.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Coordinates with managers, supervisors and support staff in the various manufacturing centers to produce a high quality product at cost efficient rates to downstream operations.
- Establishes manufacturing plant goals and provides leadership and direction to achieve these goals.
- Leads the overall safety, quality, continuous improvement, and lean initiatives throughout the plant.
- Provides direction to all manufacturing, maintenance and transportation/shipping associates.
- Forecasts labor requirements daily, monthly, quarterly, and yearly as financial forecasts change and daily customer demands warrant.
- Prepares and administers capital and expense budgets for plant and directs installation of all capital projects at plant.
- Working with up-stream and down stream customers and vendors to deliver effective cost solutions that exceed customer expectations through effective process design and product delivery solutions.
- Responsible for managerial tasks that include goal setting, performance evaluations, coaching, associate development and policy enforcement.
- Ensures regulatory compliance including but not limited to OSHA, DOT, and EPA standards.
Experience Required:
- Five to seven years experience working within a manufacturing plant environment, including areas such as engineering, maintenance, and distribution. In addition, the incumbernt should have proven experience in managing mutliple departments and personnel.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Proficient in manufacturing practices and procedures.
- Proficient with computer applications and related analytical systems.
- Proficient in all plant processes and procedures.
- Excellent communication skills including verbal and written.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Proficient in providing associate development, recognition, delegation and guidance.
- Proficient in managing multiple projects and initiatives, including all capital projects.
- Proficient in preparing, understanding and managing various departmental budgets.
Education Required:
- BS degree in Engineering, Business or related field of study
