What are the responsibilities and job description for the Caregiver Mon-Fri position at American Hearts & Home Llc?
We are looking for a compassionate and reliable Caregiver to float between shifts. The Caregiver Team Lead is never permanent to a shift/Client. Professional experience is required. Floaters need to be able to work individually, in different resident environments and have the ability to read and write.
Responsibilities
- Provide home care services in patients' residences
- Perform domestic and household tasks
- Accompany patients to the doctor's office or to the hospital
- Assist with clients' personal care activities.
- Assist patients with mobility
- Provide companionship and essential emotional or psychological support
- Train new caregivers to shifts
Requirement:
- Complete a criminal background check:
- Possess a valid driver’s license
- CPR
- PPD
- Phone
- Reliable Transportation
Qualifications:
- CNA required
- 2 years of Home Care Experience with an Agency or Home Health Agency required
- Willing to drive to various cities: Hiram, Dallas. Dallas-Acworth, Rockmart
- High school degree/GED required
- 18 years of age or older
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to work in home-like settings
- Ability to communicate (verbally and written) with all levels of personnel, internal and external to the company
- Ability to handle physical aspects of the job, including bending, stooping, lifting, pushing, pulling, reaching, and walking for periods of time
- Must maintain state regulatory certifications, as required by state/program requirements
Salary : $22,400 - $28,400
