Essential Duties & Responsibilities (What You’ll Do)
- Perform delegated independent functions using established procedures, policies, guidelines, and standards as observed by the Office Manager.
- Contributes to development of patient plan of care based on the identified patient problem/needs.
- Able to establish rapport with patients and their families.
- Functions as Scribe for physicians while assessing patients in the clinical setting. Input history and physical information, physician orders, medication reconciliation, review lab results in EMR.
- Maintain and coordinate communication among staff, patients, and physicians as evidenced within medical record, client, and healthcare team feedback. Impeccable organizational skills.
- Effectively communicates patients changing needs and plan of care among staff members - focuses on treatment goals.
- Demonstrates ability to respond to changing situations in a flexible manner in order to meet current needs, such as reprioritizing work as necessary.
- Answer phone calls and communicate effectively.
- Other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications (What We Are Looking For)

Education and/or Experience Requirements
- 1 years of experience as an LPN or MA preferred
- Currently or previously enrollment in a Pre-Medical, pre-PT, pre-PA, Medical, or Nursing school preferred
- Current Ohio LPN license or a current Medical Assistant License a plus
- Previous experience as a scribe in a medical office a plus
- Experience with eClinicalworks a plus
- M-F availability
