Director of Accounting & Strategic Finance

American Reading Company (ARC) is seeking a pro-active, self-driven initiator looking to grow as a Finance leader to join our Finance team and contribute to the strategic growth of the team and the company.

Responsibilities:

• Manage banking relationships
• Manage debt, credit and collections, and investments
• Manage cash flow
• Drive financial modeling and data analysis within the finance division and across the company
• Assist the finance team with month-end closings, financial statement preparation, and variance analysis
• Serve as a finance business partner to the executive team to support enterprise-level decision making
• Use financial thinking to help deliver social justice and accomplish the mission of ARC

Qualifications:

• MBA, CPA or equivalent experience
• Proficient in Excel, a plus for Qlik Sense experience
• Technical ability to pick up new systems quickly
