Job Overview
The Associate, Public Policy & Academy provides support to both the Public Policy and Advocacy and Academy departments, including maintaining and perfecting existing processes and creating new processes for various operations among both departments, including: Public Policy and Advocacy's webinar series, Academy programmatic activities, and various other operations.

Essential Functions (defines the critical end results expected of the jobholder related to the accountabilities above)

Provide logistical support for the multiple series of webinars hosted by the PPA & Academy departments to ensure valuable and informational webinars are produced and distributed in a professional manner.

Schedule and plan agendas for staff and stakeholder meetings to ensure good communication among the staff and with stakeholders.

Record minutes of Academy and committee meetings and produce meeting memos for staff to record staff meetings and keep track of action items and deliverables.

Keep track of key metrics for departmental activities.

Provide programmatic and logistical support to the Academy and PPA teams on major projects and deliverables.

Provide support for administrative and budget functions of Academy and PPA teams.

Support content updates of departmental website n coordination with other internal stakeholders

Physical Demands
This is largely a sedentary role and may sit or use PC for long periods of time. Bending, reaching, or stooping may be necessary for use of filing cabinets or other office cabinets or office machines. This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computer, phones, copiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
