General Laborer

American Underground Specialist is an independently owned and operated company that specializes in commercial and residential services from excavation/grading and exterior drain systems to basement waterproofing and foundation crack repair. Our mission is to provide the highest level of service to our customers by working with integrity from beginning to end of all projects. We are seeking a motivated Waterproofing Technician join our growing team of industry experts.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Basement waterproofing duties including, but no limited to: crack injections, crawlspace encapsulations and drain tile installation
• Installation of sump pumps and sump pits.
• Restoration of concrete
• Excavation of exterior walls
• Application of waterproofing membranes
• Installation of support beams

Physical Requirements

• Able to work in awkward positions in different situations like crawl spaces, trenches 7 feet.
• Able to work long hours outside in all seasons of weather
• Physically able to perform heavy lifting, bending, stooping and climbing
• Use of personal protective safety gear

Required Qualifications

• Valid Driver’s License
• 2-5 years’ experience knowledge of basement systems including waterproofing, structural foundation repair, and concrete work
• Experience of driving piers to restores homes to level a plus
• Maintaining equipment and company vehicles
• Exceptional work ethic, strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to understand and abide all safety protocols and procedures.
• Leadership mindset with the ability to think quickly to resolve problems that may arise and find solutions with minimal direction

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• Overtime
• Weekend availability
