Jensen Beach Animal Hospital is a multi-doctor, full-service companion animal hospital. We are committed to providing quality veterinary care for our small animal and pocket pet patients. Our hospital is designed for us to provide routine preventive care for young pets; early detection and treatment of disease as your pet ages; and complete medical and surgical care as necessary during their lifetime. We have digital radiographs, digital dental radiographs, surgical laser, cold/therapy laser, and a dedicated surgical suite.   We treat our patients as we would our own pets. Our goal is to practice the highest-quality medicine and surgery with compassion and an emphasis on client education. We keep current on new techniques and medicine, utilizing AVImark for our electronic medical records. Our entire health care team is knowledgeable and committed to providing personal attention to the unique concerns of each client. Our hospital is seeking a Full-Time Veterinary Technician to help provide outstanding patient care and client service in a fast-paced, multi-doctor animal hospital. The Veterinary Technician is responsible for assisting Veterinarians in the care of animals. The Technician helps during initial examinations by restraining animals when necessary, stocking examination and surgery rooms with supplies, sterilizing tools and ensuring that equipment is in working order. Technical skills will include, but are not limited to: venipuncture, catheter placement, anesthesia administration, and monitoring, dental prophy, radiography, administering medications, performing laboratory analysis, and client education. Veterinary Technician's also communicate with clients (pet owners) and update patient files. Applicants must demonstrate professionalism, dependability, healthy and positive communication skills, and the ability to multi-task. Our next team member will be an energetic people-and-pet person with excellent work ethic and social and organizational skills. Must be willing to work flexible hours and some Saturdays. Our clinic provides service to Jensen Beach, Stuart, Port St. Lucie, and surrounding areas in Martin county. Our area offers some of the most beautiful natural settings in the state and we are less than a mile to multiple beaches and beautiful views! This area is paradise for those who love the outdoors; there are many beautiful shores, rivers, and natural preserves. The warm climate allows for an abundance of outdoor festivities throughout the year. Residents also appreciate the area’s proximity to the cultural and urban life of Miami and the Palm Beaches, while being able to live in smaller communities with hometown comforts.
