What are the responsibilities and job description for the 1/4 time WI 4-H Expanding Access Capacity Builder, Clark position at AmeriCorps?
Wisconsin 4-H AmeriCorps programs aims to increase capacity of youth serving organizations in counties throughout Wisconsin. The members will work directly with community partnership in youth serving organizations to 1) assess current offerings, 2) identify opportunities to increase capacity and 3) provide currently engaged youth with additional educational opportunities, reach new youth, and utilize new or existing volunteers in additional service to the organization. Through an asset based approach, members will provide positive youth development opportunities.

Member Duties : Gain valuable experience and impact your community. Build relationships with youth organizations; assess current programming options; participate in coalition meetings to learn more about opportunities; develop/deliver programming to meet identified organizational needs; recruit volunteers; develop/adjust curriculum, activity/lesson plans for identified topics or program types; expand recruitment for programming participation; build capacity of organization to reach new audiences; conduct evaluations for program improvement and additional programming requests. Qualifications for this position include: Ability to organize and work productively with indirect supervision; Demonstrated ability to value individual and cultural differences; Ability to communicate ideas effectively verbally, in writing and through educational technology to adults and youth; Be available some evenings and weekends as needed; Work and prioritize independently; Proficient in Microsoft office and social media
