What are the responsibilities and job description for the Reach Out CHW Program position at AmeriCorps?

Member Duties : AmeriCorps members will complete a Community Health Worker training program that consists of 11 Core Competencies taking about two months to complete in a hybrid style learning environment. After completion of the training, members will then be deployed to a local partnered FQHC clinic where they will interact with clients/patients and perfect the skills learned. Additionally, members will conduct outreach to the community to share resources focusing on accessing health insurance and other government assistance programs.
Program Benefits : Living Allowance .
