The Position:
AmeriCU Credit Union is in search of a Credit Analyst II who aligns directly with our mission to provide our members with the right financial services to live life, dream big, and achieve financial success, and our vision to be the most admired organization in every community we serve. You will be responsible to prepare and perform financial analysis of the Credit Union’s business borrowers; assist in the creation and preparation of spreadsheets to monitor the quality of the entire portfolio; perform annual reviews of loans greater than $750,000 up to $2,500,000.

As a Credit Analyst II your primary responsibilities will be to:

• Perform the financial analysis and timely processing of new and existing business loan applications.

• Assist in spreading financial statements and analyze historical financial performances and make credit decisions based on prior investigations.

• Assist in monitoring the quality of the entire portfolio by creating and presenting monthly spreadsheets to the Manager.

• Assist in maintaining the Credit Union’s portfolio by performing annual reviews.

• Assist in ensuring the underwriting software is properly maintained.

• Read, understand and interpret Credit Union documents, procedures and policy manuals.

• Make sound decisions and work independently during extended hours.

• Must have the ability to explain the products and services offered by the Commercial Lending Department.

• Must continue to improve and advance analytical skills through education.

• Attends meetings as scheduled and applicable within the credit union. Attends outside meetings and seminars.

• Cross-sells and promotes AmeriCU services to the members of the community. Represents AmeriCU in the community (i.e. trade and service organizations).

Devotes the time required to get the job done. This will include some evenings and weekends.
