Position Title: Client Service Specialist- Faribault, MN
Step into an instrumental role as a Client Service Specialist with Grinney and Davis Wealth Management, a financial advisory practice of Ameriprise Financial. The office is located in Faribault, MN.
The Client Service Specialist will primarily assist the financial advisors in managing and organizing office workflow with an emphasis on creating and delivering a unique client experience that defines and differentiates the practice. This position will consistently follow high standards of business and professional ethics and legal and regulatory requirements when dealing with others and/or performing work activities.
As a Client Service Specialist, you will be instrumental in creating and delivering a unique client experience that defines and differentiates the practice. The role will also perform other practice management tasks relating to client service as needed.
Responsibilities and time allocation may change over time to meet the needs of the practice and can include other duties as assigned by the advisors.
Position functions:
- Responsible for completing and paying for applicable premiums for life insurance, annuity, and long-term care proposals and applying for these types of coverages, and following through until policies are issued
- Assist with meeting follow up process and business processing action items
- Oversee future assets, business opportunities, and new prospective client pipeline
- Responsible for follow-up with home office on business or compliance related issues
- Responsible for documenting client contact/calls
- Manage and resolve client service problems
- Track/hold clients accountable to agreed upon actions
- Executes client trades and money movement transactions
- Owns compliance system management for advisory accounts
- Managing social media and marketing on demand systems
- Coordinate client events and all client communication from the practice
- Attend client meetings and take notes
- Assist in documentation for all operations systems to support operations processes
- Holding team members accountable for processes and procedures
- Managing licensing and appointments for financial advisors

- Already have federal and state licenses and registrations for securities, including the SIE, Series 7, Series 66, and State life, accident, and health insurance licenses
