An Edible Cannabis Chef is responsible for creating delicious cannabis-infused edibles while ensuring that all food safety and quality standards are met.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Monitor inventory levels and reorder supplies as needed
- Ensure that all kitchen equipment and workspaces are clean and sanitized
- Ensure that all food safety and quality standards are met
- Package and label finished products for retail sale
- Prepare cannabis-infused edibles such according to recipe guidelines
Requirements:
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Culinary degree or equivalent experience in working as a chef
- Experience in cannabis-infused cuisine and knowledge of different cannabinoids and their effects
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and procedures
- Experience in food preparation and handling
- Ability to follow recipe guidelines and measure ingredients accurately
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production deadlines
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to sit/stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced environment
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to work in a kitchen with various temperatures and noise levels
Slip and grease-resistant shoes are REQUIRED to
meet safety regulations
