What you will be doing Summary: Individuals within the Data Analyst role work closely with business stakeholders and EITS team members to address and resolve information flow and content questions and issues. They ensure data integrity and compliance by performing data cleansing and data validations. They provide data that is congruent, synchronized and reliable, and information that is readily accessible by the user. When data related system problems occur, they perform root-cause analysis and recommend or execute corrective action. Primary Duties and Responsibilities: Address and answer/resolve business stakeholder and IT team member questions and issues around data quality, data integration and data glossary Work with business stakeholders and IT colleagues to address and resolve questions and issues around metadata management and it classification or tagging Maintain metadata, data catalogue, data glossary and data lineage information Collaborate with data engineers, analytics teams and subject matter experts to identify useful and strategically relevant insights using visualization solutions for improving data quality and simplifying data remediation Work closely with business users, vendors and delivery teams to understand the business requirements that drive the analysis and design of business analytics, reporting solutions and metadata management Show strong team building and creative thinking skills, and a desire to “make a difference” What your background should look like Bachelor’s degree in Programming/Systems or Computer Science or other related field. Or equivalent work experience Typically requires 8 or more years of experience in technologies relevant to data/information management, data quality assurance, data analysis, metadata management and/or master/reference data management Expertise with data quality tools for data profiling, cleansing and standardization May require experience in implementing solutions and processes for master data and hierarchy synchronizations Has a broad level of understanding surrounding information systems and application architecture standards Experience in leading small project teams and streams Demonstrated ability to analyze and interpret complex problems or processes that span multiple business areas, identify and understand requirements, and develop alternate solutions Knowledge of logical data architecture What Cencora offers We provide compensation, benefits, and resources that enable a highly inclusive culture and support our team members’ ability to live with purpose every day.
