Your daily responsibilities include:
Responsible for assisting in directing the overall operations and staff of Table Games, Slots, Poker, and Sportsbook.
Develops, implements, and manages operational goals and monitors achievements of performance and profit objectives.
Ensures that scheduling is done in an effective and efficient manner, while maintaining labor costs, meeting staffing objectives and achieving guest satisfaction.
Assists with preparing, monitoring, and adhering to budgets and ensuring compliance to departmental budget initiatives. Reports budget concerns / deviations to the Executive Management / GM.
Enthusiastically supports, actively promotes, and demonstrates superior customer service in accordance with department and company standards and programs. Ensures customer service standards are followed by all team members and addresses issues as they arise. Responsible for the overall achievement of department customer service goals.
Responsible for promoting a positive influence in the community and participating in Company sponsored events.
Exercises direct operational control over management of gaming activities, to include, slots, table games and poker, consistent with state regulations and company policies.
Participates with the Executive Management Team in developing strategic and tactical operating plans to support property objectives.
Responsible for maximizing daily revenue and effectively managing costs, labor, and cash control.
Works closely with Gaming Management Team and other department leaders to ensure all aspects of gaming operations for the property including staffing, repair and maintenance, game operations, optimization, cleanliness, organization, service timing, quality product, cash handling and administrative responsibilities are operating efficiently and effectively.
Supports, maintains integrity, and complies with company policies and procedures, state and federal regulations, and rules and regulations of the (insert name of gaming board/commission here)).
Develops and implements operational policies and procedures that are consistent with state gaming rules and regulations and Internal Controls.
Supervises Management and Supervisory staff to ensure optimum operating efficiencies, quality guest experience and appropriate staffing of casino floor.
Demonstrates leadership and fairness qualities in dealing with customers and employees and possess the ability to instill a sense of pride and personal responsibility in staff.
Oversees the effective recruitment, selection, training, recognition, coaching, separation, and other human resources related issues.
Utilizes effective communication tools to ensure that consistent, accurate and timely information is provided through the shifts.
Performs duties in a safe manner; report any potential safety hazards to management staff.
Assists in providing direction to Table Games, Slots, Poker, and Sportsbook leadership and oversight for all Table Games and Poker game protection and overall, Slot & Sportsbook operations.
Creates reports, analyzes data, and makes recommendations regarding floor mix of slot machines, hold adjustments, and new game availability to consistently maximize the profitability of the slot floor.
Plan and submit for movements and conversions of slot machines, based on analysis of gaming floor.
Makes recommendations to the Director concerning the research, development, evaluation, and implementation of new products, services, technologies, and processes to ensure the property’s competitive position.
Responsible for all Slot analytics and openly communicates all pertinent information with leadership team.
Answers inquiries pertaining to Casino Operation policies and services and resolve occupants’ complaints while supporting all customer service programs.
Provides recommendations on implementation and overall strategies for the overall engagement, customer service, comp ability, games layout and slot floor mix, revenue growth, and expense management to maximize profitability for all areas of responsibility.
Protects and preserves assets of the company.
Assists in direction of the selection, purchase/lease, placement, and utilization of all gaming devices to ensure achievement of operational and financial objectives.
Responsible for ensuring the compliance with all regulatory compliance within area of responsibility and reporting potential issues to Executive Management / GM.
Maintains strict confidentiality in all departmental and company matters.
Bachelor's degree (B.A. / B.S.) from four-year college or university; or five to ten years of experience in a comparable Slot leadership position; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Excellent skills in both written and oral communication.
Must be proficient in Microsoft applications (Excel, Word) and have knowledge of Table Games/Slots/Poker operating systems.
Must have the ability to interact with guests, staff and colleagues and resolve problems and conflicts in a diplomatic and tactful manner.
Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
Must have extensive knowledge of Table Games, Poker, Slots, and Sportsbook
Flexible to work all shifts including holidays, nights, weekends, and overtime as business needs dictate.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
