Let's do this. Let's change the world. In this vital role you will join our Digital, Technology and Innovation - Global Infrastructure Services (GIS) organization. You will provide leadership to our teams that support our Rhode Island facility, responsible for the scalability, achieving a lower time to market and total cost of ownership. This role will also serve as a technical leader and Product Owner for ensuring the infrastructure needs of the Manufacturing Operations Organization sites are being met. This role ensures well-rounded operational continuity across multiple sites while successfully driving tactical delivery. You will operate within a multi-functional team while demonstrating the technical detail of a hands-on Engineer: leading and the implementing of services and solutions.
You will operate within a matrix organization, direct reporting to the Manufacturing Operations Director of Information Systems and to the Global Infrastructure Services (GIS) Director Information Systems (IS).

You will operate within a matrix organization, direct reporting to the Manufacturing Operations Director of Information Systems and to the Global Infrastructure Services (GIS) Director Information Systems (IS).
As a Senior Manager Information Systems you will:
- Provides guidance to the GIS Director Information Systems, IS Architects, full-time employees, and third-party service providers on the development, delivery, and continuous improvement of the data center strategy
- Serves as a strategic partner between Operations and GIS, responsible for oversight of Manufacturing Operations infrastructure operations
- Ensures the services are aligned with the key principles of service ownership, which include meeting the needs of the business, cost-effectiveness, scalability, compliance, reliability, and resilience
- Ensures standards and specifications are current and drives projects to adhere to these standards
- Responsible for driving the completion of substantial projects by working with appropriate internal technical teams and third-party service providers and by providing frequent clear and concise written communications
- Leads multiple simultaneous strategic projects and large-scale initiatives, including business continuity and high availability for critically important applications
- Develops and maintains functional relationships within multidisciplinary teams to anticipate future physical architectures, controls, and automation requirements
- Provides representation and technical interface to key internal partner organizations, including virtualization, network, storage, compute, facilities, and engineering
- Provides technical mentoring and coaching to junior engineers or architects
- Contribute to Capacity Planning & Disaster Recovery Planning
- Travel: Domestic and international travel up to 15% may be essential
- Provide ITIL Process Planning as applicable

Basic Qualifications:
- Doctorate degree and 2 years of Information Systems experience: OR
- Master's degree and 6 years of Information Systems experience; OR
- Bachelor's degree and 8 years of Information Systems experience; OR
- Associate's degree and 10 years of Information Systems experience; OR
- High school diploma / GED and 12 years of Information Systems experience
In addition to meeting at least one of the above requirements, you must have a minimum of 2 years experience directly managing people and/or leadership experience leading teams, projects, programs, or directing the allocation or resources. Your managerial experience may run concurrently with the required technical experience referenced above
Preferred Qualifications:
- Demonstrated ability within Information Technology, with at least five years managing within enterprise environments.
- Deep technical expertise within IS architecture
- Demonstrated experience in leading data center implementations for large enterprises
- Demonstrated experience in managing highly available, concurrently maintainable, redundant data centers
- Experience managing complex architectures within highly regulated environments
- Experience managing small tactical teams responsible for delivering storage, virtualization, networking, and operations
- Experience scheduling and maintaining critical facility maintenance and managing end-user notifications
- Experience with multiple data transport methods such as Single Mode and Multi-Mode Fiber Optics, Copper, Wi-Fi, and Cellular (3G, 4G LTE and 5G)
- Experience designing multi-segmented networks is highly desirable
- Knowledge of compliance standards and requirements within highly regulated environments is preferred
- Demonstrated communication and presentation skills
